Solar & battery

Generate it, store it, use it well

Solar PV and battery storage work best when they are designed together and sized around how your household actually uses electricity. We arrange that design work with a suitable installation partner.

What good looks like

A system built around your home

Every property is different, so we avoid quoting standard packages or fixed savings. The right answer depends on your roof, your consumption pattern and your plans.

Generation designed for your roof

Panel layout depends on orientation, pitch, shading and roof construction. The design should follow the roof you actually have, not a standard package.

Storage sized to your usage

A battery stores what you generate but do not use at the time, so more of it is available in the evening. Sizing depends on how and when you use electricity.

Monitoring you can actually read

Modern systems show generation, consumption and battery state in an app, so you can see what your home is doing rather than guessing.

Export and tariffs

Electricity you do not use or store can be exported. Rates and arrangements vary between suppliers and change over time, so we set out the current position rather than quoting fixed figures.

EV readiness

If you drive electric now or expect to, the system can be specified so solar surplus can be directed to a charge point later.

The process

From first conversation to switch-on

  1. 1

    Understand your home

Roof, shading, consumption pattern, existing electrics and what you want the system to do.

  2. 2

    Design and proposal

Your installation partner produces a layout, performance estimate and written proposal specific to your property.

  3. 3

    Installation and commissioning

Panels, inverter, battery and monitoring are fitted, tested and registered by the installer.

  4. 4

    Living with it

You see generation and usage in the app, and can adjust how you run the system over time.

We do not publish fixed savings figures. What a system produces and what it is worth to you depends on your roof, your usage, your tariff and the weather. Any performance estimate comes from the installation partner as part of their design, and they are responsible for the contract, installation, warranties and certification.
